Update....

So we are in San Antonio visiting family. My Grandma had surgery and they found Cancer. It is stage 4 Colon Cancer. Fortunately with her age we are still able to do Chemotherapy. I was gonna come back but the boys and me will be here til after thanksgiving. We are having fun here in San Antonio, its always good to come home!

The holiday season is about to start!

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween, we did. I wish it was a little bit cooler but what can you expect in mississippi. Tyler is wearing shorts with is costume and the both of them are wearing flipflops. Halloween was fun this year, because we all were dressed up! Now to get rid of the candy and move on to thanksgiving and christmas. Last year we put up our christmas tree before thanksgiving and really enjoyed that, so again this year we are decorating the house and putting the tree up in between trips to San Antonio. Again hope everyone had a fun and safe halloween and get ready for some Turkey!

What a great way to start a good week...

Got my house cleaned today, meaning I moped floors, cleaning bathrooms, clean kitchen, vacuumed, and doing laundry. Tomorrow I get to work on Ammon and mine costumes. Wednesday I have to bake cakes for two different cakes I am making. And not to mention is our ward Fall Festival that night. On thursday I get to put a Transformer cake together, luckily it is gonna be easy, hopefully. Friday I get to Breathe and to some grocery shopping. Saturday I am putting together a halloween castle cake, a little more complicated. And sunday is Halloween!! Busy this week. At least I got the house clean, it is always nice to start out the week with a clean house!

Getting excited...

For Halloween!!!! I love this time of year, just wished we lived in a place where it actually had seasons and crisp mornings! The house is decorated for fall and halloween. The boys have their costumes, Kyle is going has buzz lightyear and Tyler is going has t-rex. Ammon maybe go as woody and I may go as jessie. dont know yet though. Would have to get pretty creative for the two. Anyways, getting more stuff organize and going through stuff. Glad its already gonna be friday.

busy busy busy

it has been a busy couple of weeks! Ammon and I had a get away weekend. We went to Gulf Shores Alabama. Had a ton of fun and a ton of relaxation! On monday Ammon and I took the boys to the USS Alabama Battleship. Was fun for the boys, though to them everything is a transformer! So proud of how my boys are turning out! Kyle got his progress report from pre-k and was a very good one. other than that we are doing great!

A little friendly competition...

So starting today and throughout the rest of the year, Ammon and I are have a little competition. We both have pedometers and whoever takes the most step for that day, I have won the first day and my reward is a foot massage. We are both working on losing weight, and I came up with this to keep us both motivated to stay active during the day, I encourage all who is willing to do the same! Trust me...It works!

what's wrong with me??

Lately I have been feeling confused, forgetful, just plain going crazy!!! I feel like people say something and am not getting it. I definitely got the mama brain! I keep walking into different rooms forgetting why what I needed to get into the first place. I even been almost running red lights! Twice in the same spot, luckily I had a friend with me who had asked if I was going to stop. Same lot, probably around the same time only a couple of days apart!! Having kids will do that to ya, but I was getting better. Must be the fact the Ammon is gone for just a couple more days ....so ready for him to come home! Anyways so for the next couple of days please forgive me if you say something and I have a strange, confuse look on my face! Or I may even call you and not know why I called, or if I just show up at your place not knowing why!!

So...

Got the garage cleaned out and organized, was hoping to have more stuff done today, but oh well. Now I am just waiting for Ammon to call so I can put the boys down for bed. And feeling really tired that Anything else that I wanted to get done today will just have to wait for tomorrow. Boys however are doing good Tyler is getting better, not as destructive(Knocking on wood), and Kyle is enjoying school!

Keeping Busy!

Keeping busy today with Ammon being gone, so I finished the boy's room and feels good about. I like the colors and I think the boys will enjoy their room! I am super excited about getting other things done this week, Keeping busy makes the time goes by faster!

what a day...

Yesterday was a day...Full of stuff. First I had to wake up at 4:40am to drop Ammon off at the airport, he is going to San Antonio for a week on a TDY. After dropping him off I went to Jon and Franna's to help them with their Garage Sale. Then went to walmart picked up a few things and got my glasses fix. Got all that done by 9:15. Came home and put Tyler to bed for a nap. We then went to Josie's house so the kids could swim while I vacuum out my van. We then came back home and decided to put on our jammies, mine were sweats, and watch movies. I then wanted to finish the boy's room. while rearranging it, realize the firetruck bed was too big, went back to walmart to get Tyler a matching bed to Kyles. Then by 6pm I started to put the bed together, should get it done by bedtime which it is 7pm. As I was working, I was getting frustrated, then I asked Josie to come over to help, by this time its way past 8 right before she came over I realize I started with the wrong screws, so what I was doing the screws were too small. After that the boys were soo tired that they fell right to sleep. Today I will get their room done after church, I am so excited for it to finally be done, we have lived in this house for over a year!!

Terrible Twos!

My two-year old is driving me crazy, not listening to me and is getting into everything!! He can find markers and color on himself, not so bad. He can find change and stick it into our ps3 along with two DVDs to break it, very bad. I know that wasn't his plan, he just wants to do what tyler wants to do! I got very lucky with my first one, didn't do anything that Tyler does. Very different personalities, which isn't bad but right now I don't know what to do. And to think I want to start potty training him. I think I actually need to keep this one active with good activities and not let him explore on his own until he gets a little bit older. I am really hoping this phase will pass!!

Woking on it!

Still trying to figure out this whole blog thing!! Getting a little frustrating, but I will get, and now as I post this I see what I was trying to do. Funny how things works out like that!

Injury with a destructor

So...Yesterday I needed to rearrange my room, and just couldn't wait till Ammon got home, as i was in the middle of moving everything around the treadmill landed on my foot, hurts but can wiggle toes and walk barefoot. Swollen and to be sure nothing was broken, I went to the ER today and a x-ray later no broken bones, good but dr. orders are to have it elevated and ice. Yeah Right, how can I do that when I have a 2 yr old who is in a destruction phase!!! I am laying on my couch foot elevated and thats when he decides to get into everything!! Good news though he is really trying to potty train himself, so I think I am gonna work with him on that. Not gonna push him but work with him so I am hoping by the end of the year I will have no more diaper duty!
